Manage your password, sessions, and account closure

Passwords

Use a strong, unique password for Wattle Scripts (12+ characters, mix of letters, numbers, and symbols). Don't reuse a password from another service, and consider using a password manager (1Password, Bitwarden, browser-native managers).

To change your password, go to Account → Security, enter your current password, then your new one.

Wattle Scripts will never ask for your password. Don't share it, including with support staff.

Sessions

Wattle Scripts keeps you signed in for up to 7 days of inactivity. Changing your password signs out all active sessions immediately. Always sign out on shared or public computers.

Two-factor authentication

Coming in Phase 2.

If your account is compromised

  1. Reset your password using Forgot Password? on the login page.
  2. Review recent prescriptions and profile changes for anything you didn't make.
  3. Email info@scripter.au with what you noticed and when.
  4. If you reused this password elsewhere, change it on those services too.

Account Closure

To delete your account yourself, go to Account → Security → Delete Account and type DELETE to confirm. This is immediate. Your account, prescriptions and client and patient records are deleted straight away and cannot be recovered, so download your data first.

You can also email info@scripter.au to close your account. We email you to confirm the deletion date, which is 30 days later, and send a reminder 7 days before.

During those 30 days your account is read-only, and a banner at the top of every page shows the deletion date. Sign in and download any prescriptions you need to keep: keeping your records is your responsibility, and everything is permanently deleted on that date, including your prescriptions and client and patient records. Signing in does not cancel the deletion. To keep your account, choose Keep my account on the banner.

If you stop using Wattle Scripts, we may archive your account after an extended period of inactivity and later delete it the same way, emailing you before each step. Signing in to an archived account restores it.

See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is deleted and the minimal record we keep.

Account Recovery

Forgot your password? Click Forgot Password? on the login page and follow the email link. If you can't access the email on file, contact info@scripter.au from a contact method we have on record.
