Online booking

Giving clients a page where they pick their own time, putting the link on your website, and accepting the bookings that come in.

For (management)OwnersPractice Managers

Online booking gives your clinic its own page where a client picks a service and a time. You choose whether each booking waits for your approval or goes straight onto the Schedule. The page is off until you switch it on.

Settings → Online booking. Hours, days off and the on/off switch are set there. Everything on the page itself is changed in the booking page editor: Edit page.

Set it up

  1. Set your hours. Under Who takes bookings, add the hours you want to offer for each day. Clients only see times inside these hours.
  2. Open Edit page. You change the page by clicking a part of it, then changing it on the right. Your changes are saved as a draft as you go, and clients see nothing until you Publish.
  3. Choose your services in Services: add them from your catalogue (its price comes with it), make a new one, or add a plain one with a price in your own words. Each can have its own length on the page.
  4. Do bookings need your approval? In Booking rules. Yes holds each booking until you accept it. No, auto-approve all puts it straight on the Schedule. A new page starts on Yes.
  5. Publish, then switch the page on with the switch at the top right of Settings, Online booking.

Use Preview in the editor, or beside Your link, to see the page as a client does.

Put it on your website

Your page has one link, shown under Your link. Copy link copies it.

  1. Open your website editor (Squarespace, Wix, WordPress or whatever you use).
  2. Add a button where clients will see it, usually the top menu and the home page. Call it Book online.
  3. Paste your link as the button's address and publish.

The same link works anywhere else clients find you: your Google Business Profile (the Booking link), your Facebook and Instagram pages, and your email signature.
