Packages & Bundles
Creating bundled product and service packages with automatic discount pricing.
Admin only — Packages are managed from the Catalog, which is only accessible to users with the Veterinarian role.
Packages let you bundle multiple catalog items together and sell them as a single line item with a discounted price. Common uses include puppy or kitten wellness packages, annual health plans, or pre-op bundles.
To manage packages: click Catalog in the sidebar, then select the Packages tab.
Creating a package
Click Add Package. Fill in the following:
- Package Code — a short unique reference code (e.g.
PKG-PUPPY). Required. - Package Name — the name as it will appear on invoices (e.g. "Puppy Wellness Package"). Required.
- Description — optional. A short description for your team's reference.
Adding items
Click + Add Item to add a catalog item to the package. Select the item from the dropdown — it will show the item name and its standard sale price — then set the quantity. Repeat for each item you want to include.
You must include at least one item.
Setting a discount
Choose how the discount is applied:
- Percentage (%) — e.g. entering 10 takes 10% off the subtotal.
- Fixed Amount ($) — e.g. entering 20 takes $20 off the subtotal.
A summary at the bottom of the form shows the subtotal, the discount amount, and the final package price as you fill things in.
Click Create when done.
Using packages when billing
When adding items to an invoice, estimate, or consultation, you can select a package from the item picker the same way you'd select an individual catalog item. The package is added as a single line with the discounted price — clients see the total they'll pay, not the breakdown of individual items.
Editing and deactivating packages
Click any package in the list to edit it. To stop a package from appearing in billing without deleting it, untick Active and save. You can reactivate it the same way.
